Lucky's is a custom tattoo and piercing shop located in downtown Northampton, Massachusetts. We have been open since 1999, starting with piercing and then expanding ourselves to tattooing once it became legal in Massachusetts. We pride ourselves on providing high quality tattoos and piercings in a comfortable and clean environment. With close attention to sterile technique and friendly bedside manner, we strive to make every customer have a positive and memorable experience.

We are greeeeeen with envy over Tara’s flawless ear and facial piercing curation. ✨ After years of growing a beautiful collection of body jewelry, Tara’s just got endless sparkle and shine! 💎 (Yes, we’re talking about *that* Tara Tara Gilardi , who tattoos in our Easthampton studio ♥️ )

We don’t always get to snap healed tattoo photos, but Caleb Caleb Colpitts in our Cambridge studio didn’t waste the opportunity with this pangolin tattoo! 🤩 Naturally, this means we had to pop a few pangolin fun facts below… 👀

🐞 Pangolins have no teeth, instead relying on their long sticky tongues to catch and eat their food! 👅 (Swipe all the way for an action shot 🤭)

🪲 Pangolins have a gland at the base of their tails, which can release a stinky smell to protect them from predators!

🐜 A single pangolin can eat up to 70 million (yes, we said million) insects per year!

Their jewelry picks: the BVLA Almost Lucky ring in rose, white & yellow gold, and the BVLA Miel in rose gold with a rose-cut rainbow moonstone.

For stones, Lena’s favorites are turquoise, rose quartz & moss agate. Such a dreamy mix of soft, earthy, and colorful 🥰

We are beyond proud to announce that Tara is officially a fully licensed body art practitioner! ✨

Tara began their apprenticeship back in 2024 at our Easthampton studio, co-mentored by both Patrick ( ＰＡＴＲＩＣＫ ＭＡＣＤＯＮＡＬＤ ) and Ian ( Ian Healy ). But they also received lots of additional support and guidance from the rest of the Lucky’s team, including their fellow tattooers and front of house staff. It’s hard to believe how fast their time apprenticing has flown by! 🥲

Tara is a truly vibrant creative force, and a real asset to the tattoo industry overall! The level of care, passion, and excitement that Tara brings to every single project and client interaction is beautiful to witness. Their inquisitive nature, openness to learning, and love for this work is going to take them to some pretty amazing places. 💚

It’s been the ultimate joy to witness Tara’s artistry and tattoo skills blossom over these past few years. 🌼 Please give Tara a bit of love and congratulations down below! 🎉
