Before and after lip micropigmentation

Lip micropigmentation can dramatically improve the appearance of significant scarring by restoring more even color, creating a smoother-looking border, and visually balancing the shape of the lips. In the before image, the scar disrupts the natural lip tone and contour. Immediately after treatment, the lips appear brighter, fuller, and more defined, with improved symmetry and better color consistency.

The pigment is more vibrant at first. As the lips heal, the color will soften by approximately 30–40%, leaving a lighter, more natural-looking result. While micropigmentation cannot remove scar tissue, it can camouflage discoloration and make the scar far less noticeable.
