What a fun afternoon on our first floor memory care unit. Allison, our lead activity staff member and Dianna, our wonderful assistant held a LUAU this afternoon. On the snack menu was fruit dip, fruit salad, pineapples, watermelon cake and pudding and graham cracker creations. The day room was decorated so beautifully with a tropical theme. The residents sang along to tropical music with Dawn, our Activity Director, and Melissa, our amazingly helpful and kind CNA. Loving all the smiling faces!

Lizzy, our life enrichment staff member enjoys working on our 1st floor memory care neighborhood. The residents very much enjoy Lizzy's bubbly personality. One of the residents suggested princess hats, so Lizzy and a group of residents all gathered and also made prince crowns. Lots of smiles and happiness on the neighborhood.

Linda, our activity staff member, always enjoys taking our long term care residents out on our beautiful patio. Today was Trivia! The residents enjoyed assisting Linda with watering the beautiful flowers and plants on the patio. The wind chimes were swinging in the background to make beautiful music! Also, the tomatoes our residents planted are popping up. So exciting!

What a great afternoon our long-term care residents had for our monthly specialty coffee and poke cake social. The music was playing nicely in the background, and the residents had a choice of specialty sugar free creamers of different flavors with their delicious hot coffee along with moist, homemade orange poke cake. Darlene, our activity assistant plans this monthly social, and Dawn, our activity director, enjoyed the time with our wonderful residents and appreciates Darlene's kind efforts.
