5 Reasons to consider the MS-V for your MinXray TR90BH and TR90B units:

1 - Improved Safety and Ergonomics: The MS-V reduces back strain for the operator and decreases exposure to scatter radiation.

2 - X-ray Unit Stability During Positioning: The stands allow for precise, versatile positioning at any angle or height, which ensures clearer, consistent and more accurate images.

3 - Superior Mobility and Versatility: The MS-V is designed to be lightweight and easy to transport, making it ideal for use in various settings, including small clinics, larger hospitals or remote locations.

4 - Workflow Efficiency: Quick setup and the ability to maneuver around patients (whether seated, lying down, or standing) significantly speeds up the imaging process.

5 - Patient Comfort and Safety: Bringing the imaging equipment to the patient minimizes the need for painful, uncomfortable or dangerous movement.

The MS-V provides a portable stand for MinXray's TR90B and TR90BH units only. The MS-V is compact, less than 30 lbs (13.6 kg), and is easily transported.

New research from UCL and Centre for Infectious Diseases Research in Africa (CIDRI-Africa) highlights the potential of advanced imaging tools, including AI-read chest X-rays, to detect earlier and strengthen screening efforts.

As Professor Robert J. Wilkinson notes, these tools “could play a vital role in strengthening TB control strategies through mass-screening efforts.”

At MinXray, we see how this plays out in practice. Ultraportable X-ray systems bring high-quality imaging closer to the point of care, making earlier detection more feasible, even in remote settings.

In March, MinXray’s Michael Cairnie and Dr. Robyn Christine Waite traveled to the Mponeng Mine, operated by in Gauteng, South Africa, which is the world’s deepest mine from ground level.

While over two miles underground in the mine, Cairnie supported the capture of several chest X-ray (CXR) images of miners at risk for and using the IMPACT Wireless DR system. This world record attempt showcased the capabilities of portable imaging technology even in extreme environments and further proves that nowhere on Earth is too remote for reaching people in need of care.

The expedition was organized to mark by Partnership, a not-for-profit bringing together partners in a shared mission to by 2030, and local partners including the , Medical Bureau for Operational Diseases, Minerals Council South Africa and Nexus Intelligence AI. Watch this video to learn more.

Just like Stanley Arinze Ogbodo, MinXray believes public health intervention is a deliberate act of hope. It is society deciding that no one should be too far, too poor, too isolated, or too unseen to deserve good health.

MinXray was proud to be represented at this week's Global Drug Facility event at the World Health Assembly, where our colleague Mike spoke on how procurement through GDF supports scaling diagnostic technology in countries that need it most. His message was clear: quality-assured equipment, the lowest possible total cost, rigorous accountability for long-term service, support and maintenance, and depth of knowledge to facilitate roll out and successful partnerships for life saving impact. These are value adds GDF brings to pooled procurement, which are the difference between equipment that transforms care and equipment that ends up gathering dust.
Thank you for convening an important conversation on balancing sovereignty and solidarity to maintain markets
