A few members of our team had the opportunity to attend the Northwestern IBD Masterclass—an inspiring day of learning and collaboration in the ever-evolving world of inflammatory bowel disease care.

Kristhine Nague, NP, Sherri Berntson, our IBD patient coordinator, and Pascale Daou, NP, were joined by Lauren Bloomberg, MD, who will be joining our team in August 2026. We’re proud to invest in continued education and to bring the latest insights back to our patients.

We had another fantastic bonsai-making class this week led by Dr. Gene Chiao - our second one, and just as much of a success as the first 🌿

It’s not every day you get to step away, slow down, and learn something creative alongside your colleagues. Experiences like this are a great reminder of what makes Comprehensive Gastrointestinal Health such a special place to work: a team that values connection, curiosity, and taking care of each other just as much as we take care of our patients.
