Spend a nice, cool spring day outside with us tomorrow at Cops for Inclusion at the Commerce City Police Department 🌻
TOMORROW!
Every child should feel safe contacting the police.
That’s why for the third year in a row, we can’t wait to host you at our annual “Cops for Inclusion” event, a meet and greet with our police officers designed especially for families with children on the Autism Spectrum.
You’ll sign up here for a block of time: https://www.c3gov.com/Public-Safety/Police-Department/CCPD-in-the-Community/Cops-for-Inclusion, then rotate through half a dozen stations where you’ll try on our uniforms, climb in our police vehicles, see our drones in action, pet our pups, race our motorcycle cops, and experiment with fingerprinting with our Crime Scene Investigators!
We have an incredible group of volunteer licensed behavioral therapists with The Arc of Adams County who will spend the day with us, ensuring every family feels comfortable!
Cops for Inclusion is TOMORROW outside the Civic Center beginning at 10am. Sign up (for free) for your spot and join us for this unique experience meant to build relationships with every member of our diverse community!
And happy Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month, Commerce City!
