I always love when my patients bring their kids along for their visits…but I may love it even more when they bring their fur babies!

I’ve been a dog lover my entire life, and little moments like this make my day, make work a whole lot more fun, and remind me how much I truly love what I do.

And judging by this picture…I think the feeling was mutual. 😂🐾

Aging isn’t just about the years you accumulate. It’s also about the signals you send your body every day.

How we move, sleep, eat, think, connect, and manage stress can influence how we feel as we age.

Inactivity. Poor sleep. Chronic stress. Isolation. Overstimulation. Loss of purpose. Falling into the same routine day after day.

Over time, those patterns matter.

But so do the positive ones.

Can Vitamin D slow cellular aging? ☀️

It may be more important than we once thought.

A recent study found that adults taking vitamin D had less telomere shortening over four years compared with those taking a placebo. Telomeres are the protective caps at the ends of our chromosomes, and they naturally become shorter as we age.

While this doesn’t prove that vitamin D can reverse aging or lengthen telomeres, it does add to the growing evidence that maintaining healthy vitamin D levels may support healthy aging at the cellular level.
