Mental Health Month might have just ended, but we're still thinking about all the great stuff that happened in May. Here's a quick recap:
Homefront Day at Keystone
On May 2, volunteers from FactSet rehabilitated the grounds of one of Keystone's 24-hour group homes. An amazing crew from FactSet donated their time, effort, and resources to help rehabilitate the backyard on one of Keystone’s group homes. What an incredible crew!
NorWALK for Mental Health: Walk + Wellness Fair
Also on May 2, Keystone Staff and Crew participated in the Mental Health Walk on the Green in Norwalk. The Keystone crew was there, loud and proud. Our very own, Tanju was interviewed by News 12.
Mental Health Day at Keystone!
Keystone House celebrated Mental Health Month with a little get down with our residents. No amount of rain could dampen these spirits from gettin' their boogie on.
Celebrating Haitian Culture
Each month Keystone celebrates diversity and culture. In May, we celebrated Haitian heritage by learning about the culture while dining on excellent Haitian cuisine. Amazing!
Getting Zen with the Handpan Drum
We can't forget the visit from Keystone volunteer Brian Metter in May. Brian introduced our CLC program to the meditative sounds of the handspan drum and other relaxing percussive instruments. We couldn't help but feel centered after the session. Thanks, Brian!
