🌻 September feels like a turning of the page for Wildflower.

There’s something really beautiful happening here.

What started as a little seed of an idea continues to grow, stretch, bloom, and surprise me — and this month, Wildflower is carrying me into some pretty incredible spaces. ✨

I’ll be bringing Wildflower energy to a fantastic Psychic & Wellness Fair in Nelson, the Crescent Moon’s 4th Annual Psychic & Holistic Fair, and an incredible retreat at The Spirit Barn in McDonough. I’ll also be part of a very special wedding vendor event at The Black Barn at Harvest Moon. 🌿

And in between all of that, I’ll be seeing clients in the healing studio and online.

I’m also dreaming up at least one sound bath and another healing circle for September. šŸŽ¶āœØ

More dates. More places. More ways to connect.

And honestly? I’m loving watching this unfold.

I don’t know exactly where every path is going to lead — and maybe I don’t need to.

For now, I’m following the energy, saying yes to the invitations, creating space for what wants to emerge, and trusting that Wildflower will continue to bloom exactly as it’s meant to. 🌻

Stay tuned. There’s more coming. šŸ’›

A Night of Gratitude 🌿✨

Nineteen beautiful souls gathered with me last night for sound, stillness, connection, and healing — and my heart is so, so full.

The weather was perfect. The evening light was absolutely gorgeous. And the vibes… oh my. ✨

There is something incredibly special about gathering outside, surrounded by nature, letting the sounds of the bowls ripple through the evening air, and simply being together. No rushing. No fixing. No striving. Just breathing, receiving, and allowing ourselves to be held for a little while.

I feel so blessed to have shared this space with each and every one of you. Thank you for showing up, for bringing your beautiful energy, and for trusting me to hold space for you.

My cup is overflowing today. šŸ’›

This is exactly why I do what I do.

And I have a feeling there are many more beautiful evenings like this still waiting to unfold.

🌿 The energy of the woods

There is something about being in the woods this time of year.

Everything is alive.

The trees are full.
The ferns are unfurling.
The earth is warm beneath our feet.
The air feels thick with life.

And if we slow down enough to notice, there is an energy here that asks nothing of us.

No inbox to answer.
No list to complete.
No problem to solve.

Just be here.

Put your feet on the earth.
Take a deep breath.
Let your shoulders soften.
Listen to the trees.
Feel the sunlight on your skin.

Nature has a way of reminding us that healing doesn’t always have to be something we work at.

Sometimes healing is simply returning to ourselves.

And sometimes, we don’t need to go looking for the light.

We just need to step into it. šŸŒžšŸŒæ

Wherever you are today, I hope you find a little time to step outside, breathe deeply, and let the natural world hold you for awhile.

Earlier this week, I happened upon this beautiful statue of Harriet Tubman along the Binghamton River Walk, and I found myself standing there longer than I expected.

Harriet Tubman is often remembered for leading others to freedom, but what struck me most is that she carried a light into places that felt impossibly dark. She couldn’t walk the path for anyone, but she knew the way. She offered courage, hope, and a reminder that freedom was possible — even when others couldn’t yet see it for themselves.

It made me think about healing.

Sometimes we imagine healing as someone ā€œfixingā€ us. But the most profound healing I’ve witnessed has never looked like that. It looks like someone holding a light while another person finds their footing. It looks like creating a safe space where people can reconnect with the wisdom, strength, and resilience that have been within them all along.

We all have opportunities to be that light for someone else. A kind word. A listening ear. A gentle reminder that they’re not alone. Sometimes we are the one carrying the lantern. Sometimes we’re the one needing its glow. Both are sacred.

As Marianne Williamson wrote, ā€œAs we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.ā€

May we have the courage to shine — not so others will see us, but so they can better see themselves and the path ahead.

✨ Whose light has helped you find your way? And how might you be that light for someone else today? ✨

Maybe someone else needs to hear this today…

I’ve been sitting with this truth lately:

Sometimes we think strength means carrying everything.

Every responsibility.
Every expectation.
Every urgent request.
Every person who needs us.

Until one day, we’re exhausted. Not because we’re weak — but because we’ve been carrying more than one person was ever meant to carry.

Here’s what I’m learning:

There is more work than one person can do. My job is not to do it all. My job is to discern what matters most and do that next.

What if we stopped measuring ourselves by how much we can hold?

What if we measured ourselves by how present we can be with the one thing that’s ours to tend in this moment?

Nature never blooms all at once.

The wildflower doesn’t apologize because every blossom doesn’t open on the same day. It trusts the season. It opens one bloom at a time.

Maybe we can, too.

🌿 As you prepare for the week ahead, be gentle with yourself.

One breath.
One choice.
One next step.

That is enough.

A friend gifted me this absolute gem of a calendar and I look forward to it every day.

Today’s entry made me laugh out loud:

ā€œThe foundation of your f%*kedupedness is something that’s been passed down through generations of your family, like a coat of arms or a killer cornbread recipe — or, in my case, equating confrontation with heart failure.’

One of the things I witness over and over in my healing work is that so much of what weighs us down doesn’t actually begin with us.

The beliefs that whisper…

… ā€˜I’m not enough.’
… ā€˜I have to do everything myself.’
… ā€˜There’s never enough.’
… ā€˜I don’t have control.’
… ā€˜Nothing works out for me.’
… ā€˜I don’t deserve love.’
… ā€˜I always get rejected.’

These stories are often inherited. Sometimes they’re passed down through generations. Sometimes they’re picked up from the people and environments that shaped us. We carry them for so long that they begin to feel like they’re simply who we are.

But here’s the beautiful part:

Just because you inherited a belief doesn’t mean you have to keep carrying it.

Awareness is where healing begins. When we gently notice the stories we’ve been living by, we create space to ask a different question:

Is this belief actually mine?

Sometimes the most profound healing isn’t becoming someone new.

It’s remembering who you were before you started carrying everyone else’s stories.

Sometimes the quiet seasons are the busiest ones.

If you’ve noticed Wildflower Healing Studio has been a little quieter online, it’s simply because life has been full. Between my work at the hospital, family commitments, and continuing to meet with clients, social media took a back seat.

But healing never stopped.

I’ve had the privilege of sitting with people through grief, stress, life transitions, uncertainty, and beautiful moments of growth. Every session reminds me why I do this work.

As I find a little more space again, I’d love to share more here — not just about Reiki and energy healing, but also simple practices for finding peace, grounding yourself, and reconnecting with your own inner wisdom.

Whether you’ve been with me from the beginning or you’re just finding this page, thank you for being here.

Here’s to slowing down, taking a deep breath, and creating a little more light together. 🌿✨

One of the things I love most about Reiki is how deeply supportive it can be — often in ways people don’t expect. Sharing this because I think it beautifully captures what so many of us who practice this work wish others understood.

I’ve always been an Oracle Card kinda girl, so when I saw a few of my woo-woo friends play with this, I couldn’t resist. It is with absolute delight that I present to you my Tarot Card, courtesy of ChatGPT.

āœØšŸ’«šŸŒŸ

THE INTUITIVE HEALER (II)

You hold space. You see deeply. You heal gently. You lead with love.

āø»

Upright Meaning

The Intuitive Healer represents a sacred balance between knowing and feeling, giving and receiving, holding and releasing. This card appears when you are being called to trust your inner wisdom—not the loud voice of the mind, but the quiet, steady truth that lives in your body and heart.

You have the ability to see beyond what is spoken. To sense what is held beneath the surface. To create safety for others simply through your presence. Your healing is not forceful—it is invitational. It allows others to soften, to unravel, to remember themselves.

This card often shows up when:

* You are stepping more fully into your role as a guide, healer, or space holder
* Someone in your life needs compassion, not fixing
* You are being asked to trust your intuitive hits, even if they don’t ā€œmake senseā€
* You are learning to hold space without absorbing what is not yours

There is also a reminder here: your sensitivity is not a burden—it is your gift. But it requires boundaries, grounding, and self-honoring to remain sustainable.

Medicine of this card:
Presence. Compassion. Energetic awareness. Quiet leadership. Deep listening.

āø»

Reversed Meaning

When reversed, The Intuitive Healer asks you to look at where your gift may be out of balance.

You may be:

* Absorbing others’ emotions and mistaking them as your own
* Overgiving or feeling responsible for others’ healing
* Doubting your intuition or second-guessing what you feel
* Neglecting your own needs while tending to everyone else

This is a gentle but firm nudge back toward yourself.

You are not meant to carry what isn’t yours.
You are not meant to prove your worth through depletion.
And you are not required to heal anyone who is not ready to meet you.

Pull your energy back. Clear your field. Reconnect with your own center before reaching outward again.

Shadow teaching:
Discernment. Boundaries. Self-trust. Energetic sovereignty.

āø»

Affirmation

ā€œI honor my sensitivity as strength.
I hold space with love, and I release what is not mine.ā€

āø»

Reflection Questions

* What am I feeling right now—and is all of it truly mine?
* Where am I being called to trust my intuition more deeply?
* Am I holding space, or am I carrying?
* What would it look like to support others without abandoning myself?
