Just another indication that we will soon be able to tell people more specifically what their risks for particular diseases are going to be. With that knowledge, they will move research in ways that have never been possible before.

Many diseases begin developing years before symptoms appear[1][1]–[3][2], yet biospecimens from these early stages are rarely available. We developed Chronos, a framework that uses privacy-preserving tokenization[4][3] to link archived plasma samples with longitudinal clinical records, enabling th...

I am absolutely thrilled to be able to post that OpenCures will be playing a key role in ARPA-H PROSPR program! A multi-million dollar effort to create an "Intrinsic Capacity Score" and home test kit that will help people manage and direct their own health while validating some cutting-edge longevity technologies! Here's a press release detailing the program and the many players required to make it work. Amazing group! Looking forward to using this as a beginning of the creation a systems model of human health that would help reduce or eliminate the need for expensive clinical trials and enable the testing of millions of hypotheses in parallel instead of one expensive and long trial at a time.

Stanford-led Coalition Secures up to $34.5M Award to Develop the First FDA-Grade "Intrinsic Capacity Score" for ARPA-H PROSPR Program

I recently had the genuine privilege to spend some of my ATP in a conversation with Max More exploring what is and isn't working in the healthy longevity technology development space. Ultimately it comes down to the "customer" is not well-served and has little agency in the economic cycle for longevity technologies. To share some mind-space with a young pioneer in the space of transhumanism and someone who helped shape the events we see today is truly a joyful experience. Hope you enjoy seeing some of your own thoughts reflected and for sure visit his substack!

I became aware of Max More and Natasha Vita-More and the Extropian Movement, already hugely influential, when I started my journey in search of healthy longevity and life-extension. I couldn't be more thrilled to have had a chance to catch-up with Max on his podcast. What an amazing wealth of knowledge and perspective.

It turns out we are chronologically and philosophically very similar! What a surprise.. ;) Can't wait to share the full podcast.. there were a LOT of interesting topics and perhaps not-so-obvious assertions about what is wrong (and right) in the longevity and cryonics space. If you haven't yet, you should sign-up for his substack!

What is the construction of the blueprints for the oldest humans like?

In brief, Santos-Pujol and colleagues characterize the multiomics landscape of the human with the most extreme longevity. The study enables the association of advantageous genetic variants, an engaged lipid metabolism, low inflammation levels, a proficient immune system, a rejuvenated microbiome com...

There is a deep dissatisfaction of customers with the research-medical industry. Thankfully the tools are being developed that empower individuals beyond anything that industry would like and we will soon be able to take responsibility for the development of our own health solutions. Hope you might hear some interesting or at least novel perspectives in this podcast.

What if aging wasn’t inevitable? What if you could take charge of your health data and help accelerate life-saving breakthroughs? In this week’s episode, I sit down with Dr. Kevin Perrott — cancer survivor, PhD in biological sciences, and CEO of OpenCures — to explore how data ownership, AI,...

Justin Loew, Director of one of our earliest collaborators and supporters, Longecity, (nee the Immortality Institute) interviewed me about OpenCures and other questions. Very much enjoyed interacting with someone with the depth of experience he has. His perspective is definitely worth hearing as well.
