Dr. Hirschman started work as an Endodontic dental assistant at the age of fifteen for his father, Dr. Louis Hirschman. He developed an early interest in the work as a teenager. After performing numerous root canals in dental school, he discovered his love for root canal therapy and decided to pursue a goal in becoming an Endodontist.
