For the first few days, your face may be protected with ointment or a dressing. You'll have some swelling and discomfort, and the skin will weep as it heals. Your skin will also look as if you have a sunburn. This can last for several weeks. However, the redness can be covered with makeup after 1 to 2 weeks. You must also wear sunscreen until the skin fully heals. You can return to work immediately. Risks and Complications:
