UltraClear resurfacing, and why the skin looks like that mid-treatment.
The grid is not a mask or a patch. It is the laser's actual pattern. UltraClear is a fractional laser, which means instead of removing the entire surface of your skin, it drills thousands of microscopic channels in a precise grid and leaves healthy, untouched skin in between every point.
That untouched skin is the whole trick. It is what lets your face heal in days instead of weeks, because your skin repairs itself out from all those intact points at once. Older resurfacing lasers took off the full surface and left you down for a long recovery. This one gets to the deeper layers, stimulates real collagen, and still lets you heal fast, because it treats in a pattern instead of all at once.
The channels also give us control. We choose how deep and how dense the grid is based on your skin and how much downtime you can take. A lighter pass means pink, slightly rough skin for a couple of days. A deeper one means a few days more. Same laser, calibrated to you.
That calibration is the part that actually matters, and it is why who runs the laser matters as much as the laser itself. The device is the same anywhere.
