Our Lead Occupational Therapist, Chelsea has been practicing as a pediatric occupational therapist for the past 8 years. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Movement Science from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Occupa

Chelsea focuses on creating a supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences. Her goal is to empower clients to develop confidence, resilience, and the tools they need to participate in all of the activities that they want and need to participate in as part of their daily life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, crafting, decorating her house, and spending time at the beach. Speech Therapy:

She is bilingual in Spanish and English and has obtained various certifications including: PROMPT (PROMPTs for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets), LAMP (Language Acquisition through Motor Planning), and Natural Language Acquisition for Gestalt Language Processors. She has been an SLP since 2018 and holds licenses in both Michigan and Texas. She is passionate about culturally responsive services, sensory integration, and play-based therapy. What a great sensory-friendly event!

Stagecrafters Sensory Friendly performances are designed to create a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals with sensory sensitivities, including those on the autism spectrum, people with sensory processing disorders, and other sensory or cognitive disabilities.

During these performances, modifications are made to the show to accommodate sensory needs, such as adjusting lighting and sound levels and allowing for movement throughout the theater.

Families, first-time theatergoers, and individuals with various disabilities can expect an engaging experience in a comfortable and inclusive setting, where they can enjoy the magic of live theater without concern for sensory overload or judgment.
