Emory Valley Center is proud to announce our merger with The Arc of Anderson County, expanding our advocacy efforts for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

By bringing The Arc's advocacy work under the Emory Valley Center family, we're strengthening our commitment to inclusion, empowerment, and ensuring every voice is heard. Together, we'll continue building a stronger, more inclusive community while honoring The Arc of Anderson County's incredible legacy of advocacy.

Important information.

The U.S. Department of Justice wrote a new opinion last week about key disability laws/legal rulings. The new opinion says that states are not required to help people with disabilities live in the community. This is the opposite of how those laws have been understood for many years.
