Help us support the local food pantries through the months of May and June!

We have placed change boxes at the registers at Rubacks Food Center and Avoca Food Land. When you check out, you can place your spare change in the boxes. Whatever money is raised in those boxes, East Pottawattamie County Farm Bureau will match that amount in another donation to the food pantries at the end of the event. For example, if we raise $25, Farm Bureau will donate another $25 to the food pantries.

We hope you participate, and we appreciate your support for the local food pantries!

Yesterday we hosted 5th Grade Ag Day at the fairgrounds in Avoca. It was a fun filled day of learning about agriculture in our community. We had many volunteers and representatives who came to help yesterday, and we want to thank them for their time and sharing their ag experiences with the students.
