My last night in Michigan, packing and moving my mom (and her cat Stache) to Cali. We are exhausted to say the least 😓 Mom didn’t want a send off in a kayak down the Detroit river, but agreed to one last Farm Margarita at Coriander Kitchen along the river. Saying goodbye to Michigan, and hoping that California will welcome my mom and cat with open arms and heart. Wish them the best on this next chapter ❤️

I miss you and think of you every day. My world has gotten very small in these past 2 months as my grief has taken up all of the space in my life. A friend pointed out to me that siblings are often our longest relationships we have in life. My heart feels broken over and over again. I love you Mike ❤️💔 Happy Birthday big brother 💔❤️ I hope you are riding the waves of the stars and feel that you no longer need to dim your light because you are so expansive, and so loved.

Thank you all for reaching out and sharing some of your memories of Mike, especially those who knew him in his first half of life. Hearing how you remember him and how he touched you feels like a balm to my grieving heart. I don’t have many pictures of my brother in these past few years of his life, he didn’t allow people to take his photo, and I saw him less and less in these past few years. I will continue to remember him in his earlier years as he was so full of life and light, and I know that that’s who he really was. I know Mike’s essence, his core being, and that’s how I will remember him.

This is a more recent picture of my brother, from a few years back. I feel grateful that I got to see him this year when I went back to Michigan to help out my mom after her heart attack. It was actually quite painful to see my brother and who he had become, but I feel grateful that I got to be with his living body one last time. 💔 He will always be my big brother who could make me laugh so easily and told me that we were like super heros, brother and sister who were seperated in childhood that would one day reunite to save the world. We are once again separated but I know his love and protection lives within me. ❤️

will always remember my brother how he was in some of these first few images. My brother Mike struggled with mental illness for 30 plus years of his life, so in many ways I feel like I lost him a long time ago. Having a sibling/family member living with mental illness has been one of the biggest griefs in my life, finding the balance between hope and acceptance. Not hoping that he would return into the person he was before, but hope in the stretches when he was stable that they would elongate even more.

He was my light as a kid, he loved protecting and looking out for me. He was bright, funny, intelligent, creative, and sensitive. I always thought he was one of those that was too sensitive for this world. He had a huge heart, was caring, loved the ocean, played guitar, loved nature and so much more.

I am grateful to have called you my brother in this life, and ever since grateful that my kids got to experience some of your light and laughter, even after your diagnosis. You will forever be in my heart, in the waves of the ocean, in the strings of the guitar and a part of who I am.

Rest in Peace my dearest Mike ❤️

Now I know why I was hand picked from my last craft fair to participate in this one! A lot of earth loving kindred spirits/witches selling their wares, while supporting a community school. Today from 12-5 at Wildcat Canyon Community School in El Sobrante. There will be music, a fairy cave, food, a bake off, all centered around a community fire honoring the return of the light. There will be a free solstice ritual for all to attend at 4:30. 🌟🌿🌹

Since I will be here from 12-5, I will be offering a free herbal oracle reading with each purchase! 🌿❤️
