$3495.00 including installation. That is the most you should pay for a typical straight stairlift in NE Ohio. Most companies refuse to give you a price without coming to you house. The reason is that they want to use high pressure sales tactics and talk you into purchasing immediately, before you can check their price. Some will claim that they have a coupon only good through today that will save you a couple hundred dollars. I don’t play those games. Do your research before purchasing. The Bruno Elan stairlift is the number one rated stairlift in America. Search the internet for stairlift reviews to confirm that. Made in America, Wisconsin to be exact, you cannot buy a better stairlift. A standard straight staircase with no turns or landings for a person up to 300 lbs., will cost you $3495.00 including installation. No tax with a doctor’s prescription. If you have a side door or narrow hallway at the bottom that requires a rail that folds up then a manual folding rail is $750.00 extra and an automatic folding rail is $1250.00 extra. My customers have shown me quotes from other companies lately between $7500 and $13,000 for these same configurations. One customer was told that Bruno and other brands were belt, cable, and chain drive. Totally false information. I don’t know of a single brand now days that sells a belt or cable or chain drive driven stairlift. We don’t play games, subject you to high pressure sales tactics, or try to sell you absolutely unnecessary yearly service contracts.
