🐴 We’re proud to be sponsoring Alejandra Gonzalez at Equine Affaire Massachusetts!

This November, Alejandra will be presenting riding clinics and a demonstration centered around something we deeply value at Photonic Health: understanding the horse, paying attention to what they’re communicating, and finding better ways to support the horse-and-rider partnership.

We’re excited to support Alejandra as she shares her approach with the Equine Affaire community - and we hope you'll join us.

Photonic Health will also be at Sponsor Booth #201, where you can meet our team and learn more about red light therapy and photobiomodulation for equine wellness, mobility, recovery, and performance.

📅 November 12–15, 2026

Stay tuned - we’ll be sharing Alejandra’s complete clinic and demonstration schedule soon!

What a difference a day and a half can make. 🐴

After this horse sustained an injury near the eye, Taryn incorporated the Multi-Light into the care being provided—using blue light for 30 seconds and red light for 30–60 seconds, twice daily.

These photos show the progress Taryn observed between Friday evening and Sunday morning.

Thank you, Taryn, for allowing us to share this powerful visual update. We are grateful the Multi-Light was available when your horse needed additional support.

🐴 Acupoint Highlight: Large Intestine 1 (LI1)

Have you heard of Ting points? These acupoints are located around the horse’s hoof—and Large Intestine 1 is one of them.

In this reel, Bryan Owen highlights LI1 and its use in equine acupoint protocols for:

✔️ Eye and ear issues
✔️ Inflammation
✔️ Laminitis
✔️ Ringbone and sidebone
✔️ Other hoof issues

📍 Location: At the front, inner portion of the foot, on both sides of the horse.

Bryan demonstrates how to visualize the six Ting points like sections of a pie to help you find LI1.

Knowing where to locate an acupoint is an important part of learning your horse’s light therapy protocols. 💙

Save this demonstration for reference! Have you learned about Ting points before?

She was the first horse Cara Woods rescued - but she became so much more than that. 🐴💙

After being rescued from a kill pen, Cara’s Appaloosa helped her understand that building a relationship with a horse isn’t about control. It’s about communication, partnership, and mutual respect.

Cara calls her a “heart horse” because she didn’t simply become part of the rescue - she helped shape the philosophy behind Florida Rescue Ranch.

Animals have an extraordinary way of becoming our greatest teachers. When we remain open to what they have to show us, they can transform not only how we care for them, but how we move through the world.
Do you have a heart horse - or another animal who changed your life?

Meaningful change doesn’t always happen all at once.

Sometimes it is found in the small things repeated with care: showing up, remaining patient, following a routine, and giving the body the support and time it needs.

Consistency may not create an overnight transformation—but it creates opportunities for progress. 💙

Have you ever watched small, steady changes add up for an animal you love?

Senior cats are experts at hiding changes in how they feel—but their daily habits can tell us a lot. 🐱

You may begin noticing subtle differences in how they jump, climb, stretch, groom, or move after resting. Adding light therapy to a senior cat’s wellness routine can provide gentle, non-invasive support for mobility and everyday comfort.

Keep sessions calm, allow your cat to choose a comfortable position, and pay attention to what their behavior is telling you.

What change first told you that your cat was entering their senior years?

Sometimes the most meaningful change is seeing your animal feel comfortable and content again. 🐱💙💚

Angie shared that she used blue and green light with her nervous cat while addressing ongoing skin concerns. Because her cat was hesitant, Angie found a quiet, gentle way to introduce the green light while she slept.

Her favorite part of the experience? Seeing her cat feeling happier again.

Thank you, Angie, for sharing this sweet update with us!

Sometimes the smallest life can inspire the biggest hope. 🐔💙

When Bubbles arrived at Florida Rescue Ranch after being attacked by a dog, Cara Woods knew she had a difficult road ahead. But as Cara observed her, one thing felt clear: Bubbles was not ready to give up.

With hands-on wound care, close observation, and red light therapy incorporated into her supportive care routine, Bubbles began showing encouraging signs of progress. Just days later, she was standing independently and regaining strength.

Her story reflects the heart of animal rescue: meeting an animal where they are, listening closely, and giving them the opportunity to keep fighting.

At Photonic Health, we believe every animal - regardless of species or size - deserves the opportunity to recover, thrive, and be deeply cared for.

Would you have been able to resist falling in love with Bubbles?

Cooler walks, crunchy leaves, and extra time curled up inside. Dogs definitely have opinions about October.

What is your dog’s favorite part of the season?

What if one of the most important things we can give our animals is our full attention? 💙

After more than 17 years in animal rescue, Cara Woods of Florida Rescue Ranch has learned to slow down, remain present, and listen to what each animal is communicating.

Animals speak through their behavior, movement, energy, and the subtle changes we notice when we truly know them. That kind of observation can deepen the human-animal bond and help us become more thoughtful advocates for their wellness.

At Photonic Health, we share Cara’s belief that caring for animals begins with seeing them as individuals - and listening before deciding what they need.

What has your animal taught you by asking you to slow down and listen?
