I have 3 events coming up next month that I’m excited to share with you.

As some of you may know, I’ve gotten back into doing sound baths and couldn’t be more ecstatic about it!

(Insert happy dance here 😜)

I’m collaborating with my beautiful friend Sharla Fagan for Stepping Into Your Frequency happening on Sept 3rd & 24th. There will be a guided meditation, reflection, and a lovely sound bath to support you in remembering your authentic and magical self so you can move forward with more clarity and embodiment.

And then on Sept 12th, I’ll be joining another beautiful friend of mine, Rachael (Rackael) Cohen, as we dive into the Virgo New Moon and dance our way through intention setting, sisterhood, creating a manifesting jar, dancing, and then cozying up for a wonderful sound bath.

All of these events will be at SHEAR KARMA® in Carlsbad.

More details to come but wanted to put it in your mind of what’s happening next month as I step more into this beautiful world of Sound 😍

Random thought I came across yesterday.... “Do you think people prefer a ‘normal’ massage over an intuitive one?”

I mean... in your everyday massage, you can choose to talk or not while you’re receiving it.

However, in my Intuitive Massages, I’m not only giving you a massage AND a Reiki energy healing... I’m also tapping into the body and receiving messages that gently invite in a level of consciousness, awareness, and observation for you.

So, at these moments during the massage, I will start talking to you about what’s coming up and where I feel YOUR energy needs to shift, release, or simply become aware of.

I am energetically communicating with your body on an emotional and mental level. And half the time, your body wants YOU to know something that can assist you going forward.

So when I begin questioning myself and my unique approach....

The answer becomes very loud and reminds me that I am for those ready for this next level of ‘healing’, if you will.

Or rather... I am for those who want to step away from the traditional massage setting and dive in a little bit deeper as we explore what your body wants you to know.

What I’m learning is that there really is NO competition here. You can have both - a traditional massage where you can be the one to choose if you want to chat or not while receiving...

AND...

You can also receive an intuitive massage from me, where we can dive a bit deeper into what is happening in the body, instead of only addressing muscle tension.

When a massage therapist needs a massage therapist…. but no one is around… the struggle is real 🤣

I may wait a little longer than I should between receiving massages BUT I am learning how important self care is!

It is NOT selfish to treat yourself because you are legitimately filling up your own cup!

You are saying YES to yourself on so many levels (especially if you’re getting onto my table)!

I read something today that said “If you had the opportunity to talk to yourself 10 years ago and only had 60 seconds to talk… what would you say?”

I would tell Me,

Follow your heart and what is so uniquely true in your soul. You can feel it - learn to trust it.

You are stronger than you know and you can do the big scary things… as long as it aligns to who YOU are.

Release everyone else’s expectations of you and know you are meant for more.

Follow the breadcrumbs and remember you are more than enough just as you are!

Every time I choose courage over comfort my future shifts.

The very act of choosing courage, choosing resilience… I am choosing me. I’ve seen my world turn upside down in a good way because of it.

It’s shifting perspectives on how I see my life and how I choose to live it. My heart beats for this particular ALIVENESS every time I choose courage over comfort.

It’s not the fact of choosing challenges that keep me second-guessing myself - it’s choosing NOT to live a life that doesn’t feel like the one I want to live.

Enough with bending over backwards for the things, people, and environments that keep me small, that expect me to be a certain way or live my life to appease xyz.

I choose to be courageous because of how it lights my body up with excitement of the uncertainty.

Before, uncertainty was huge, overwhelming, and scary and fear was this overbearing weight that kept me stuck.

Now it’s an opportunity to actually see myself in a whole new light!

Courage without the ability to take action is only a dream. And dreams never take off without action to be courageous.

I choose this life. I choose to make courage louder than my fears. I choose to walk this path, no matter if I see, or can’t see the end result.

Because it’s not the destination that is the most important to me, rather it’s the courage to see things through, make memories, laugh at the mistakes + wrong turns, seek opportunities, build relationships and become curious about who I am and what next step I choose to become courageous with.

Courage is choosing me at every turn as I listen to my own inner knowing of who I am and what I want to experience in my life.

Being completely wide open, no filter, sharing a photo that is by far aesthetically pleasing… just to share parts of my real life that I’ve realized I keep hidden.

I share more about the exciting parts of my life and my beautiful healing work I do, but these aren’t the only parts that are me.

It’s also the messy middle parts. The parts that feel embarrassing and almost shameful (or so as my mind tells me) to even share about.

The parts of struggling to make ends meet financially, having to sleep on a couch inside a friends little art studio in the backyard, using a camping toilet because an actual toilet is in the main house, and so many other things that are deemed ‘unsharable’ in the eyes of social media.

But as I wake up this morning with a very early start to my period, I am reminded that even in these messy parts of my life, there is still beauty in the way that this messiness consistently brings me back to ME.

Not that there’s something wrong with me (by far not the case) but because this is MY life and not anyone else’s.

The things going on behind the scenes of the aesthetically pleasing life of mine ARE the very things that inspire and birth the beauty.

It’s in the chaos, muddy, and messy middle where I have the invitation to come back home to myself. And that is the best gift right now that I could ever ask for as I navigate who I am right now towards who I am choosing to become.

The magic lies in accepting the messiness and not only just the better parts of life…. and just like the moon during the new moon (darkness) phase… I am still whole even in the crazy middle! 🥹

This was more than just a random desire for a cut & color. This time it went deeper than that.

I moved here to San Diego last year for a new beginning but what’s been emerging on this journey since then is more than that.

Every challenge & obstacle I’ve come across - every loving connection between a friend or someone new in the community - every opportunity to grow and expand - It has been all about bringing me back to myself.

I am choosing to view myself and my life with a different perspective and belief system.

I am choosing to surrender to “This or something better”.

I am choosing this relationship to myself and dive even deeper into the mystery of Me.

And from what began as a quick ‘fix’ in needing my hair chopped off - transformed into a beautiful ritual of release, gratitude, and rebirth from the past year and a half and going forward.

Learning to be with the real Me and getting to know and understand her with eyes of kindness, compassion, and gentleness.

This was more than just a simple cut & color.

This is me RISING into my fullness!
