Diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer? You may qualify for Presumptive Eligibility (PE) Women’s Health Medicaid. 💗

Your local health department can help eligible women apply for PE Women’s Health Medicaid.
You may qualify if you:
• Are a Georgia resident and under age 65.
• Have a diagnosis of breast and/or cervical cancer.
• Are uninsured or underinsured and not receiving Medicare Part A or Part B.
• Meet income and citizenship or qualified immigration requirements.

October is Dental Hygiene Month! 🦷 Keeping up with your little one’s oral care is important for supporting their overall health. Set a strong example by modeling healthy brushing habits! 🪥

Looking for ways to make brushing fun? Try these tips:
✨ Start early, even before the first tooth!
🎶 Sing a song or use a timer to make 2 minutes fly by.
🪥 Let your child choose a fun toothbrush or toothpaste.
👀 Let them brush on their own, then “check their work” and help with missed spots.
😁 Don’t forget those tricky back teeth!

Remember to use the right amount of fluoride toothpaste: a rice-sized smear for children under 3 and a pea-sized amount for ages 3 to 6.

If you’ve been diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer, you may qualify for Presumptive Eligibility (PE) Women’s Health Medicaid. Your local health department can help eligible individuals with the application process and connect you with resources.
