Every postpartum mom SHOULD have a set of hands on her stomach. 🤍

Pregnancy changes the position, length, tension, and coordination of the muscles and tissues throughout your abdomen and pelvis as your body makes room for baby. Your organs and muscles literally move out of the way to make that happen.

Here’s what that hands-on assessment actually looks like in the clinic:
•Visceral mobilization — helping your organs migrate back toward their original position
•Trigger point release through your abdominal wall
•Working the tension out of your back
•Rebalancing your pelvis

Your body prioritizes protecting your organs over your muscles and joints during pregnancy — which is exactly why so much can feel “off” during and after. Addressing it now means you’re not showing up 20 years from now with a dozen different issues that could’ve been treated easily right at the start of your postpartum journey.

You grew an entire human.

Your body deserves some attention, too. 🤍

When was the last time you actually paid attention to your feet?
Your feet are your foundation. They absorb load, adapt to the ground, and influence how the rest of your body moves with every step.
Stiffness, weakness, restricted mobility, or poor foot mechanics can change how your ankles, knees, hips, and even your low back move.
Your feet aren’t just there to get you from point A to point B—they’re working all day long.
Take care of the foundation, and the rest of the body can move better.

👣 Strength
👣 Balance
👣 Control
Your feet deserve maintenance, too.

You may have noticed a new friendly face the last couple months in the clinic but we wanted to officially introduce our newest member of the family, Chloe!!

Hey everyone!! My name is Chloe & I’m a new-ish grad from Concordia University and I’m sososo lucky and excited to be apart of the EMPT family❣️
My fiancé, Jace, and I have been together for the last 5 years but have actually known each other since Kindergarten. We’re local to the Pewaukee area now and love to be outside, grabbing dinner, or spending time with family/friends.
Outside of work, I love to read, explore new coffee shops, and I have recently started my cooking journey… but definitely could use some tips/tricks 😂
Fun fact about me: my favorite food are tomatoes, ESPECIALLY the little cherry ones!

I look forward to continue meeting everyone and establishing myself at Empower with the best ladies at EMPT❣️

Nobody told you this before your Epidural!

Those needles pass through thick ligaments to reach your spinal cord — and your body notices every single time.

When there’s trauma at that site — multiple attempts, soreness, discomfort — your spine contracts around it to protect your brain and spinal cord.

Because that’s your body doing exactly what it is designed to do, But that protection doesn’t come for free.

The muscles around it start compensating. Shifting. Overworking. And suddenly you’ve got pain, tightness or dysfunction that feels completely unrelated to childbirth —but trace is right back to this one spot.

We’re seeing this constantly.
And most women have no idea it’s connected.

Your elbow pain isn’t coming from.

The muscles at the elbow are guarding & gripping because something above them isn’t moving the way it should.

So we start at the neck. Then the shoulder blade. THEN we get to the elbow.

By the time we arrive at the site of pain, the muscles are finally ready to calm down — because we’ve addressed the reason they were fired up in the first place.

This is how you actually fix. Not just manage it. Treat the criminal (neck), not the victim (elbow)
