Unpopular opinion: most advice about perimenopause is wrong. 🙃

And believing it is keeping a generation of women in their 40s stuck, exhausted, and quietly wondering what’s wrong with them.
So let’s set the record straight 🤍

❌ You’re NOT too young for perimenopause.
✅ It can start in your late 30s and last up to a decade.

❌ “Normal labs” do NOT mean you’re fine.
✅ Symptoms are data.

❌ “Eat less, move more” does NOT work in perimenopause.
✅ It spikes cortisol, tanks your thyroid, and makes everything worse.

❌ A meditation app will NOT fix this.
✅ You’re not anxious because you’re breathing wrong. You’re anxious because your hormones are shifting and your gut needs support.

❌ This is NOT just what getting older feels like.
✅ Aging is real. Suffering is not required.

Every time you believe one of these myths, you stop trusting yourself a little more. You stop asking. You start whispering “maybe it’s just me.”
And you spend another year — another five — waiting to feel like yourself again. 🤍

The real issue isn’t getting older.

What you’re experiencing is the result of dramatic, erratic hormonal shifts — estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, and insulin — that perimenopause sets in motion years before your final period.

And conventional healthcare is rarely trained to recognize it, let alone address it. So you get the seven-minute appointment. That bowl of cereal? Leaves you starving by 10am.
The “I’ll just have coffee” routine? Hello, 3pm crash and 8pm cravings.

Here’s what I want you to know. It’s not you. It’s your physiology.🤍

In perimenopause, your estrogen is fluctuating, your insulin sensitivity is shifting, and your body is quietly losing muscle every year if you don’t actively protect it. Translation? Here’s what no one told us in our 20s, 30s, or 40s:
