We strongly advise all horses returning from events with known EHV-1/EHM cases to undergo a minimum two week quarantine accompanied by taking and recording your horse(s) temperature twice a day in a physical ledger (A re**al temperature of >101.5 is of concern).

- BFA at Lazy E Arena
- Rope Horse Futurity events and locations
๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐: We have no confirmed cases at any rope horse futurity events. We are just exercising precautions, and want all potentially exposed horses and owners to be as safe as possible! We encourage all attendants to follow quarantine and isolation protocols!

All horses returning from events with known EHV-1/EHM cases should follow a strict isolation protocol. Clothes should be changed after handling these horses, or disposable PPE should be worn.
- At least 30 feet away from any other horse
- No nose to nose contact with other horses
- No sharing of buckets, tack, pitch forks, halters and lead ropes, etc.
- Disinfect trailers, ties and all communal items or spaces.
Please ensure all organic material is removed from surfaces to ensure your cleaning solutions are able to be completely effective!
Our SEH Team is monitoring the situation and communicating with other veterinarians and clinics across Texas and neighboring states.
