What we call laziness is actually something much deeper.
You tell yourself you'll start tomorrow, simple tasks feel overwhelming and no matter how much you push yourself, it never feels like enough. What if the problem isn't a lack of motivation? What if your mind and body have been carrying stress for so long that exhaustion has become your normal?
Emotional exhaustion doesn't always look dramatic. It looks like procrastination, low energy, brain fog, irritability, or feeling disconnected from the things you usually enjoy. When we're constantly under pressure, our bodies shift into survival mode. Over time, that chronic stress can affect our sleep, mood, energy levels, focus, and even our physical health.
That's why healing isn't always about pushing harder. The reset you need is rest. Before you call yourself lazy today, ask yourself: Am I unmotivated, or am I exhausted?
Drop a "RESET" in the comments if this resonates with you and will like to discuss further.
📌 Save this for the days you feel like you're falling behind.
