These sessions were beautiful, but what moved me most was the effort and love behind them.
I’m so amazed, not only of my clients, but of mothers as a whole.
It was such a gift getting to observe each mother cater to her children individualized and gracefully. You see the photos and the smiles, but behind every image was invisible work. The planning, the outfits laid out the night before, loading everyone up, nursing in the car, working around naps, meals, moods, exhaustion…trusting me to get one good photo that honors that.

May your cups runneth over.

I’m a big crybaby. I cry every single time I’m painting these prints. It reminds me where I came from, why I’m here, and gives so much more meaning to what I do.

In high school, church members showed up for me. Providing school supplies, clothes, and support when I needed it most.
I wanted to thank them in a meaningful way. In the forest is where I found God. So I created an art series of pottery and paintings called “Rooted in God’s Word” and gifted them to everyone who supported me along the way. Fast forward to today, I’m still creating now gifting mothers keepsakes of their placenta prints, also known as the tree of life.

I love a full circle moment.
