This client has been so patient with me and waiting until I was ready to start tattooing again. Last year I lined everything, and we finally got the color in. Each mushroom represents his kids and the heart his wife. I absolutely loved putting the color in these and giving it new life.

Quick Update: my mental health took a huge hit while I’ve been healing. Being essentially bed bound for a month, crutches and boot for longer, and just generally being stuck at home, really got to me. Everyone knows that I am a Mom first, but as my kids are older (teenagers) that allowed more freedom to work. Not working really took its toll. I wasn’t able to focus on myself and take care of myself like I needed to. I struggle with PTSD, major depression and anxiety on the regular but it’s all heightened now. I haven’t tattooed in 3 months. First, I have to get myself ok. Please be patient with me as I navigate prioritizing myself before I can prioritize anyone more. I’m hoping I can get back to tattooing soon. Until then, I’ll try to post more regularly.

We are on day 4 since surgery and Yoda is doing pretty well. He’s definitely more interested in eating again. He is still on a bland diet and several small meals a day. We are still waiting on his bowels to fully function again (💩). Yoda is a very sensitive baby in general but is even more so since his surgery. He mostly wants to be in his kennel with me in the room with him. He was not ok with the cone so I went on Amazon and bought him some surgery suits. He doesn’t like them but they keep him from messing with his surgical site. He’s got a very good size incision spot. Thank you to everyone who helped us when we needed it. He is alive and well because of you all! Josh and I can never put into words how much that means to us. Thank you!

**Please be patient with me. So far, I’m the only person he responds to. As much as Josh and the kids try to help, he is only doing things for me. As I’m helping this sensitive baby, I’m definitely behind on messages. I’ll get to you, I promise.
