Breathe. Sit still. Set intention.

This month we are sharing 6 steps for setting . Here's #2:
Sit still & check in – Now that you’ve quieted your mind and cleared some internal space sit still for a few minutes and check in with yourself. What do you notice about yourself? How are you doing – Right now? Lately? Overall in your life? Is there anything you’d like to change? What would you like more of in your life? What do you like about the way it is now? Allow your authentic desires to surface and try not to judge them. Whatever you come up with is correct – there is no right or wrong way to feel.

Truth.

This month we are sharing 6 steps for setting . Here's #1:
Clear your mind – It’s normal for our heads to be filled with lots of busy thought. It’s important to allow some time to clear out these thoughts in order to connect with the deeper, more real desires that lay beneath the chatter. Take 5-15 mins. (or as much time as you need!) to allow these thoughts to be heard. Stream of consciousness journaling is a good way to clear; try setting a timer & simply writing down whatever comes to mind until the timer rings. Meditation is another excellent option for clearing the mind. If you’re feeling especially restless, physical activity is an a great way to shake off excess energy and get your brain to a place of quiet – go for a hike, run, do yoga or try Kundalini breathing exercises.
