Some of my little tribe of sweet chickens comprised of 2 polish, 3 olive eggers and 2 Easter eggers. The guy in front is the roo and a complete nut, nonetheless he is the leader of this little tribe. There are 4 other older roo’s but these are his girls. They bring me great pleasure to watch and sometimes capture a moment like this. Doing things that bring joy into my life is what I live for.

Sunset is one time where you can feel the magic. Last night was no exception it was blissful. Afterwards it’s time to tuck in for the night and let the body start to unwind from the week and naturally feel your need to rest. Your circadian rhythm is how to stay healthy and listen to natures cycles. Up with the sun and down with the sunset. Listen to your elders speak quiet words of wisdom and reset and simplify. Also it helps to live in the mountains where there is nothing but beauty. Listen to where you feel pulled to live and create the life that YOU want. Everything is possible.

Meet Ziggy our little baby. He is smart as a whip and ready to take on the world. Two takeaways from this little guy: just play and ignore all the other s**t and each day is an adventure with new things that keep life fun. It can get heavy sometimes and I’m just glad we have this new light in our house and heart to remind us it isn’t all that.
