Most men don't avoid prostate screening because they don't care. They avoid it because it feels uncomfortable, or because nothing feels wrong. That's exactly why early detection matters: prostate cancer often shows no signs in its early stages.

Screening isn't one-size-fits-all, and it starts with a conversation. At HALO, we'll talk through your age, family history, and what the options really look like, so you can make a choice that fits you.

Not sure what all those numbers on your prescription bottle mean? 👀

Here’s the quick breakdown:

💊 Medication name — What you’re taking
💊 Dose — How much to take each time
💊 Directions — When and how often to take it
💊 Quantity — How many pills are in the bottle
💊 Refills — How many times you can refill it without contacting your provider

And remember:

➡️ If you have refills available, call your pharmacy to request your refill.

➡️ If it says “0 refills” or you’re out of refills, contact your primary care provider. Your provider may need to review your medication and send in a new prescription.

Keeping track of your medications doesn’t have to be complicated. Save this post for your next refill!

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation paused — and in the days that followed, so many of us learned what it means to show up for one another. Nurses, first responders, neighbors, strangers who became family for a moment.
