My Philosophy of Care
Why I Became a Traditional Naturopath
My decision to become a Traditional Naturopath and embrace holistic health is deeply personal. Like many parents, I was searching for answers to help my children. That journey led me to natural approaches that look beyond symptoms and focus on the whole person.
Motherhood has always been the most important role in my life. My family comes first, and that value shapes how I practice. If I receive an urgent call or message from one of my children, I will answer it. If that would be frustrating or unacceptable to a prospective client, I may not be the right practitioner for them.
My Commitment to My Clients
I dedicate significant time and attention to every client. New client consultations often exceed two hours and include a comprehensive review of your health history, concerns, lifestyle, and goals.
I also understand that life happens. I strive to be accommodating and supportive of clients with children and family responsibilities because I have walked that path myself.
My goal is to:
Listen carefully to your concerns.
Identify the main reasons you are seeking help.
Evaluate the whole person, not just symptoms.
Develop a personalized holistic plan.
Offer options and perspectives you may not have considered.
Share my expertise from naturopathic, holistic, herbal, nutritional, energetic, and natural medicine perspectives.
A Partnership in Healing
True healing requires partnership.
My responsibility is to evaluate your situation, provide recommendations, educate you about available options, and help guide you toward your health goals.
Your responsibility is to remain open to those recommendations and willing to implement agreed-upon changes.
If I take the time to explain why a supplement, lifestyle change, dietary adjustment, or natural therapy may be beneficial and those recommendations are consistently declined or not followed, it becomes difficult to assess their effectiveness.
While I respect each person's right to make their own choices, meaningful progress is most likely when practitioner and client work together as a team.
Mutual Respect
I am committed to providing compassionate, thoughtful, individualized care. In return, I ask for openness, honesty, accountability, and mutual respect.
Clients who experience the greatest success are often those willing to explore new possibilities, actively participate in their healing journey, and trust the process we create together.
