A week removed from the finish of Radiation. I have officially finished all of the chemo medication as well.I figured it up between the start of. Radiation and Chemo to the finish it was exactly 40 days. I am off of the steroids and anti seizure medication. My leg aches have gotten better but they are still lingering. I am still fighting fatigue at times and slight headaches. My main issue is the hair loss from the radiation and chemo.

LONG POST WARNING:

A few things I have taken from this battle so far. 1. There are some things that cannot be explained. You can be full of energy and you get up and walk to the kitchen you need a nap. 2. There is a clique that well it looks like you are handling it well. Every single day is a new unique battle of its own There is no road map for the battle. Minute to minute things change. 3. This was one of the harder things for me. There will be people that you expect to reach out and they don't. Doesn't matter the length of friendship could be 10 or more years, but at the same time you will have people reaching out that you have known for months even weeks.

Half of the battle is the cancer itself. The treatments side effects etc. But the other half is a mental battle. To anyone that knows some one enduring the fight. They are not being distant they are trying to not lose track of themselves. At least 5 times a day for the past 40 days (Treatment days) I have heard or seen a commercial or radio add involving cancer. This is outside of being at the cancer center for my treatments.
