She attended the HBCU Langston University where she received both a Bachelor in Biology, and a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling. Curiosity started Curtisia’s journey into the science field. Finding an interest in medical science research, Curtisia spent years learning and researching about the human body and its’ biological aspects. Later in her graduate studies, her background of science incr
eased her knowledge of chronic conditions and how they affect the mental and behavioral elements of overall health. Battle is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) of psychotherapy and behavior health psychotherapist in the state of Oklahoma. Curtisia believes that trauma, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, disabilities, and more can happen; but it doesn’t have to stop your journey. She has a passion for motivating others to believe in yourself, modify your thoughts, and your behavior can change for the better.
