Have you ever stood in front of a painting and wanted to reach out and touch it? At Please Touch the Art, you can. Attend the opening reception of Tulsa Community College's McKeon Center for Creativity's biggest exhibition yet — 45 works from artists in nine states, celebrating the creativity of artists who are blind, have low vision, or have disabilities. Touch tactile artwork, explore scent and sound installations, meet the artists, enjoy refreshments, and create together at our collaborative fiber art station. Free and open to all — come and go as you please.

Congratulations to Chandler on graduating from NewView Oklahoma's Vocational Rehabilitation program!

Chandler brought so much curiosity and joy to his time with us. He was always eager to learn, always figuring out how things work, and always ready with a laugh. We are so proud of him and can't wait to see what Chandler does next!

Yesterday, we had the honor of welcoming Sterling Zearley, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services, and Randy Weaver, Chief of Operations, to NewView Oklahoma for a special tour!

We were so glad to share our programs, services, and employment initiatives with them. It was a joy to show firsthand the impact this work has on the lives of Oklahomans who are blind or have low vision.

NewView Oklahoma's partnership with DRS helps open doors to independence and employment for so many of our clients. As one NewView client, Kevin said during the tour, "I promise you, NewView saved my life." Thank you both for taking the time to visit!
