We celebrated the life of Mr. Moore today. What a Blessing it was for our lives to cross paths. Me from the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans, relocated to Oklahoma City after Hurricane Katrina, meeting and working for this man and his wife who dedicated their lives to building one of the best Black Own Business (LaMoor Beauty Supply) in Oklahoma. May you both get ya'll well deserved Rest in Peace.

It is with a prayerful heart that we announce that Alwin C. Moore passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 2, 2022. Al and Marilyn Moore served their community for nearly 50 years bringing beauty supplies directly to shops acros.s the State. We would like to extend our greatest appreciation and gratitude for the tremendous outpouring of love and support given to us by so many. Please, respect our Family during this time while we honor Mr. Moore's memory the way he intended, privately and without fanfare. At this moment, we may be sad but we know that he is reunited with his true love and our heavenly father. Mr. Moore never failed to open and close any endeavor without prayer. So, in good fashion his legacy will continue. Mr. Moore fought a good fight, as we bid farewell I know Mr. Moore would want each and everyone of you to know ......."In the world ye shall have tribulation: BUT BE OF GOOD CHEER; I have overcome the world" John 16:33.
