Healthcare Express HealthCARE Express is home of the WOWZA customer service experience! We pride ourselves on operating

HealthCARE Express was founded in January 2006 in Texarkana, Texas, with our first clinic located on Richmond Road. Since then, we have grown to serve communities across Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Today, HealthCARE Express owns and operates 15 urgent care clinics, along with specialty clinics including Age Management, Imaging, and Occupational Medicine. Over the years, HealthCARE Express has focused on developing a strong foundation to support our growing organization. We have built our own billing, marketing, and staffing programs, creating systems that are unique within the industry and provide us with a competitive advantage. In 2014, we completed a 16,000-square-foot expansion of our original Texarkana facility, allowing us to further expand our imaging and occupational medicine services. We pride ourselves on staying true to our core values and purpose—so much so that they are even displayed on our name tags! Internally, we are committed to providing amazing customer service, financial success, an awesome place to work, and great medical care. Our purpose is simple: to serve our communities, provide a WOWZA experience for our patients and customers, and leave a legacy of leaders. Because of this commitment, HealthCARE Express remains deeply involved in the communities we serve and continues to grow while keeping our patients, employees, and communities at the heart of everything we do.

Press play and get a look inside one of the most meaningful places in our community. 🎥💙

At Texarkana Resources for the Disabled, no two days look the same. From woodworking to sewing, packaging to assembly, every task is a chance to build a skill, grow in confidence, and create something to be proud of. What you're watching isn't just work — it's independence in action.

For over 60 years, this has been a place where people with disabilities come to learn, grow, and belong — and for some, it's been their second home for 40+ years.

We're grateful to stand behind this team and handle their workers' comp, so the people who pour so much into our community are always cared for in return.

Some people wait to be asked. Ross Norman isn't one of them.

This week's Champion of Excellent Healthcare went above and beyond for our occ med team — no ask, no hesitation, just showing up and going the extra mile when it mattered.

That's the standard around here. And it's exactly the kind of person you'll find waiting to take care of you.

That heavy, queasy, why-did-I-eat-that feeling? You've got options in your kitchen before you ever open the medicine cabinet. 🍌

Ginger, a banana, warm tea, and staying upright can all take the edge off an everyday upset stomach.

The catch: home hacks are for the passing stuff. If it keeps coming back or comes with real pain, don't tough it out — just walk in when you're ready. No appointment needed.

Save this for the next time your stomach turns on you. ❤

Today we had the honor of touring Texarkana Resources for the Disabled — a place that's been changing lives in our community for over 60 years. 💙

We got to see their team hard at work — assembling, packaging, sorting, woodworking, and so much more — learning new skills and taking real pride in what they do every single day. Some have been part of this family for 40+ years! 🙌

We're proud to handle their workers' comp and take care of the people who give so much back to our community.

Stay tuned — more from our visit coming soon! 🎥

This is what happens when the waiting room clears out.

We gave our clinics some spare supplies and ten free minutes — this was the result.

Teams across the board took the challenge. Zero complaints, best vitals we've ever recorded.

Which team built the best one? Settle it in the comments. 👇

One bad stomach bug and suddenly you're negotiating with an IV pole.

Good news: fluids work faster than willpower.

Meet this week's Champion of Excellent Healthcare — Marcy Shelley.

Marcy works in our Imaging department, and she's been part of the HCE family for years. Ask anyone who's worked a shift with her and you'll hear the same thing: great attitude, always helpful, and genuinely kind to every patient who comes through.

Our exec team shouted her out for exactly that — the warmth and customer service she brings to people on what's often not their best day.

Thank you, Marcy. Our team is what makes the care feel like care.

Nine years with HealthCARE Express — thank you, Jack.

Jack Culbertson is celebrating 9 years with HCE, and today you'll find him taking care of patients at our Blanchard location. Nine years of steady hands, real care, and treating every patient who walks through the door like they matter.

We're lucky to have him. Blanchard's lucky to have him.

Here's to Jack. 🎉

We take care of our team so our team can take care of you.

Hearing loss on the job doesn't happen all at once. It creeps in so slowly that by the time someone notices, it's usually permanent.

That's the case for testing early. A baseline now — plus a quick check each year — catches changes while you can still do something about it. We run the tests and handle the paperwork, so it's not one more thing on your plate.

Not sure if it applies to your crew? That's the conversation to have.
