First night of Peritoneal Dialysis happens tonight! Little nervous,but hopeful this will eventually give Theresa some of her energy back.

Thank you to everyone for prayers and good thoughts during Theresa's journey. We're calling 2020 "The Year of the Kidney" as we are very hopeful to get that call!! There have been 3 times we've been called & have once gotten as far as being in the pre-op area with IV & gown before being sent back home. Quite the emotional rollercoaster, but such is life on the transplant list. 😉 To get everyone up to speed: Theresa's creatine has crept up to greater than 4 in recent months. As that increases, energy & reserve go down. Her Nephrologist decided it was time to begin peritoneal dialysis at home to bridge until we find that kidney. This past Thursday she had the dialysis catheter placed in surgery & we'll find out soon when we will begin at home. Fingers crossed that this will help her feel much better in the interim!
Theresa is the strongest person I know...you can't keep this girl down!! She never stops being a phenomenal wife and mother!!
