This is an extraordinary case. Shak has overcome so much to become a State Champion in Speech and Debate despite his housing challenges; qualifying for Nationals. Thank you KFOR for getting the word out about this law. If this becomes law, pharmacies will be paid what it cost us for the medication plus a fee to cover things like a label, a vial, a lid, a pharmacist’s salary to review the prescription, a clerk’s salary to serve you, the rent, the electric bill. This is designed to keep our rural stores open. In some cases they are the only healthcare provider for miles and miles. It also provides transparency for convoluted pricing from PBMs.

A bill aimed at supporting local pharmacies is now headed to the governor's desk, but not everyone is on board.

March 1, 2019 - 7 years ago today, President Trump met with Kim Jong Un, 5G was on the verge of widespread distribution, and many were a buzz anticipating the release of the final season of Game of Thrones. Meanwhile in Oklahoma City a neighborhood pharmacy open its doors for their first day. It would be 3 more weeks before our exterior sign was installed. Our contracts with 2 of the 3 biggest insurance companies weren’t completed until April 1st. It was difficult, and we had zero budget for advertising. Nevertheless, we persisted. Survived Covid 11 months later.
What has unfolded over the past 7 years has been humbling. It reminds me daily, in spite of the darkness that covers our world, there are people who still show up for others with love and light for our world.
Thank you for your support over the years. I think we might finally be on to something. We look forward to caring for you and your family for many years to come! Cheers to 7 years!
