While we play, create, and explore foods together, so many important skills are being targeted. Feeding therapy with a speech-language pathologist can support oral motor skills, chewing patterns, sensory exploration, food tolerance, self-feeding skills, and expanding a childβs food repertoire in a positive, low-pressure environment. It also helps build confidence and reduce stress around mealtimes for both children and families. π
