✨I am incredibly honored to share that I am a participating therapist for the Hella Healing Fund!

đź’š This amazing initiative provides community members with sponsorship for up to 8 individual therapy sessions with a licensed therapist from the Asian Mental Health KC network.

We believe that mental health support should be accessible to everyone.

By lowering financial barriers and tackling generational stigmas, this fund is actively helping members of our local Asian community in Kansas City access the deep, dedicated care they deserve.

If you have been wanting to start your healing journey but structural or financial barriers have stood in the way, please consider applying!

Flowers grow in the valley. 🌿

There are moments in life when everything changes in ways we never expected. A sudden loss. A medical diagnosis. A job change. A family crisis. A season where the unknown feels heavier than we ever imagined.

The “what ifs” can become overwhelming. Our minds can begin creating the worst-case scenarios, and it can feel like we are stuck in a valley with no clear way forward.

But even in the valley, life still exists. Hope can still exist. Healing can still begin.

🎉 Exciting Professional Update! 🎉

I’ve officially been approved to take the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) Exam through Postpartum Support International.

This means I’ve completed the specialized training and eligibility requirements needed to pursue advanced certification in supporting individuals and families experiencing pregnancy and postpartum mental health concerns.

Whether it’s postpartum depression, anxiety, birth trauma, pregnancy loss, infertility, or adjusting to parenthood, specialized care matters. I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue expanding my knowledge so I can better serve my clients and our community. 💙

Next stop: the exam! 📚✨

I'm excited to share that I am currently training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy approach that helps individuals process trauma, distressing experiences, anxiety, and other challenges that can keep them feeling stuck.

As a therapist, I am committed to continuing my education and expanding my skills so I can better support the people I serve. EMDR offers a unique way to help the brain heal and reprocess difficult experiences, allowing space for growth, resilience, and hope.

Sometimes the thoughts we carry feel too heavy to hold inside. Journaling offers a safe space to slow down, reflect, and process life's challenges.
