For me, this summer was full of woods, water, late nights, dirty feet and days filled with that backwoods Maine quiet that resets everything. ❤️🌲

This special late summer time off from being on-call gave me the space to be with my kids in full presence and focus — and to quietly work on something I’ve been holding close. Something that’s going to ask for an enormous amount of full presence and focus as well.

Im back on call and we’re back in the swing of our home school routine now. More podcast episodes are coming soon… and as always, they come when they come. My release schedule has been all over the place in the past, and that’s just the reality of being a busy birth worker with a full life.

Baby wearing with my youngest was one of my favorite parts of motherhood! 🥰

I didn’t do much of it with my older two, but with her it just clicked - the closeness, the freedom, the way she would fall asleep on my chest, and how it helped our homeschool days flow better.

I was completely hooked!

Tomorrow on the podcast Mary, a fellow Maine Mom joins me to share her own birth story, and we also dive deep into all things baby wearing - the practical tips, the benefits, and why it can be such a game changer for so many families.
