Better Health Pharmacy & Wellness in Olyphant has been offering SnapSlide vials to patients for several months. Owner Eric Pusey said patients have responded positively to the design, which maintains child-resistant safety standards while making prescriptions easier to access. Encouraged by the feedback, the pharmacy plans to expand the option to more patients.

“They love it. It is such a great product. We're going to be converting all of our childproof containers over to this particular product, because it is so easy and it's so safe. That's the other thing. It's completely child resistant,” said Pusey.

“Being a parent of a special needs child, I’ve been involved with that particular community for many years,” he said. “Knowing there’s such a need for this type of product in Northeastern Pennsylvania, it really helps to serve our patients well. The product is so easy to use and so convenient. People are so energized to be able to be self-sufficient and open their bottles with just one hand.”
