We have the best Care Companions! Here's some background on Melissa!

Melissa is one of our fantastic non-medical care companions! We’re happy to tell you about her!

She is a VERY busy lady! In addition to working for Outreach, Melissa homeschools her FIVE children (17, 16, 14, 11, & 4) (and maybe her Tuxedo cat too?) and helps her husband with his small business! Whew!

Melissa began playing the piano at age 6, and also enjoys reading, gardening, game nights, Bible study, and hanging out with friends. Although she moved to Omaha as a teen, Melissa now calls Omaha home.

When asked what she enjoys about Outreach, Melissa answered that she loves working for a company that truly prioritizes high-quality, compassionate care. It allows her to help clients maintain their independence while also making sure they feel supported and valued. She enjoy building those relationships and being someone they can count on—it’s what makes this work so meaningful to her.

Her loving, empathetic attitude is so obvious - out clients love her! We’re very grateful to have Melissa on the Outreach team!
