Please pray for Sean and his team. If you can financially support them that’s so appreciated. Going to every US capital city is expensive with time, money, energy and more. They are half way there… 23 cities to go.

You can give via Venmo, or go to the website. Just give. Abundantly. Give. God will bless your seed.

We went last night to Lincoln and the number of young adults that went forward for prayer was astounding. The enemy would like nothing better than to destroy the next generation.

Time to leave the sidelines. Get involved. The church needs to leave the building. There are hurting people out there that would never go to church but would go see Sean.

Friendship - Social Media can be a deep dark rabbit hole. It’s so easy to think you have a relationship with an “Influencer” when they respond to a question or when you like their post. But in reality, you’re probably just another number. Please understand, I’m not saying this to be harsh, it’s simply the way the game works.

Real Friendships are vital to your life. (I’m talking to myself too!) We need to sit across the table and talk, share stories, laugh, cry, have long meaningful talks, share in celebrations.... you get the message. We need to hug, shake hands, hold hands, rub feet, and put our arms around a friend when they are hurting.
True friendship means showing up in tough times, especially if your friend is someone who has a chronic health condition. Being supportive and staying connected can actually make a difference in how well they do physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Want some ideas for how to support your chronically ill friend?

1. Be Understanding - They didn’t ask to be ill. So when they cancel plans, seem distant, or like they have too many demands... give them grace. They aren’t trying to be difficult or lazy. Healing is Never Linear. They’ll have good and bad days.

2. Ask them about their illness and their challenges. Do research and learn about their condition.

3. Offer to help them. If they say “No”... continue to offer. Sometimes it’s difficult to accept help because it makes them feel weak.

4. Invite Them - and continue to invite them. Chronic illness” can be a lonely place.

5. Don’t give up on them. They need you!

Even the Bible instructs us to stay connected... in person. In 2 John 1:12, Paul writing to the churches says, “I have much to write to you, but I do not want to use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete.” Bam!!!
What he’s saying in our day and age is something like this: “Let’s not text, email, or even talk on the phone. Let’s meet in person.”

Friendship... Touch... Health... They are all tied together.

I hope this has encouraged you to reach out to a friend in need today. You can make a difference. 💕
