Sudden nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, and maybe a fever after eating might be food poisoning. While many mild cases pass in a day or two with rest and fluids, some foodborne illnesses can be more serious and may need medical treatment.

ER visits for tick bites are climbing to their highest levels since 2017, and hospitals across the country are feeling it. If you or your child has a tick bite but it’s not a life-threatening emergency, Urgent Care Omaha can help, no appointment needed.

Our providers can:
Examine the bite and surrounding skin
Remove the tick if it’s still attached
Evaluate for infection or early tick‑borne illness
Decide if antibiotics or further testing are needed

⚠️ Go straight to the ER for:
Trouble breathing, chest pain, confusion, or severe headache
