Project Upstream, an initiative of the Nebraska Urban Indian Health Coalition (NUIHC), to help Native youth and their families find effective ways to overcome academic, economic, health, and other social barriers. Project Upstream team members partner with American Indian and Alaskan Native (AI/AN) families and youth to outreach to services designed to improve mental, physical, social and communal

health through:
-Family home visiting
-Youth advocacy and mentorship
-Youth-centric cultural and health programs

Good afternoon, our winter party is still on for tomorrow at a new time, 6-8pm. There will be fun, games, and the Claus' there. We will serve ham and homemade Mac n cheese as the main dishes and are encouraging others to bring a side dish to share, if you're able. Grinch punch will also be served๐Ÿ˜

The Omaha Tribeโ€™s ARPA Program will be at the NUIHC Event Center to distribute Christmas incentive checks to Omaha Tribal elders living in the Omaha area.

If you are an Indigenous artist and 18 years of age or younger, your art could be featured for the 2026 Together for Indigenous Families Conference! The theme is Stronger Together: Centering Culture and Building Community.

To find out about the guidelines and submission, scan the QR code on the flyer! The deadline for submissions is December 14th right up to midnight.
