Does your child act out more after a bad night's sleep? Sleep and behavior are closely connected – when kids don't rest well, their mood and attention can really suffer. One reason is that poor sleep can stress their system and affect digestion, which then impacts how they feel and behave.

Try this simple tip tonight: create a consistent bedtime routine that includes calming activities like reading or gentle stretching. This helps their nervous system relax and supports better sleep.

Did you know that common nutrient gaps like low vitamin D, iron, magnesium, and omega-3s can affect your child’s mood and behavior? These deficiencies might make it harder for them to focus, feel calm, or sleep well.

Try adding simple foods like oatmeal with almonds and blueberries or yogurt topped with honey to your child’s diet to help boost these nutrients naturally. Small changes can make a big difference in how your child feels and acts.

It’s common for children to seem fine at school and then fall apart at home.

School can feel structured and predictable. Home is often where feelings finally surface.

That does not mean your child is being difficult. It may mean they feel safe enough to let go.

Your calm presence and gentle support can help them through those shifts.

Have you seen this with your child?

Have you ever wondered why order matters in care?

Root-cause pediatric care starts by understanding your child’s unique story. We focus first on the most impactful factors—like nutrition, environment, and immune health—to build a clear path toward lasting wellness.

This thoughtful order isn’t arbitrary; it helps us uncover what truly supports your child’s thriving.

What’s one health concern you wish you could understand better?

Here’s the pattern I see again and again: everyone has a piece, but nobody has the whole picture.
One little boy had been seen by his pediatrician, a therapist, an occupational therapist, and a GI doctor. Each of them saw a real slice of him. But no one had sat down with his whole timeline at once — birth, gut, sleep, food, behavior, all of it on one page.
When we finally did, three things that had never been connected lined up: long-standing gut inflammation, metabolic markers pointing to what was happening at the cellular level, and a genetic blueprint that explained how his body was processing all of it.
Gut testing revealed the inflammation. The Organic Acids Test revealed the metabolic and neurotransmitter picture. Genomics showed us how to personalize the plan. Apart, each was a clue. Together, the picture finally made sense — and the missing piece had been sitting there for years.
I won’t ever promise you a specific finding. What I promise is the close look: I can’t tell you what we’ll find until we look, but I can tell you we’ll actually look.

Everyone had a piece. No one had the whole picture.

He’d been seen by a pediatrician, a therapist, an OT, and a GI doctor. Each one saw a slice. None of them sat down with the full timeline.

When we finally did, three things had never been connected: gut inflammation, metabolic markers, and how his body is wired to process it all.

Gut testing showed the inflammation. The Organic Acids Test showed the metabolism. Genomics showed how to personalize. Together, the picture finally made sense.

I can’t tell you what we’ll find for your child until we look. I can tell you we’ll actually look.
