She found me on her insurance website.

Not through a friend. Not through her OB. She was scrolling through her in-network providers and my name came up - and she had no idea she could do that, or that in-home lactation visits were even covered.

She called. We got her scheduled. And now she has the support she needs.

I tell you this because I know there are mamas right now who are struggling and have no idea that help exists, that it comes to your house, and that insurance likely covers it completely.

You do not have to figure this out alone. You do not have to drive anywhere. And you probably do not have to pay anything out of pocket.

Call or text me 24/7 at 531-329-0604 - or look me up on your insurance app. I am in-network with most major plans.

It's that time of year for me...mammogram time!

Did you know that breastfeeding can decrease your risk of breast cancer by 4.3% for every 12 months of breastfeeding? This happens through several biological changes.

Yearly mammograms are recommended once you hit 40 years old, but even earlier if you or your family has a history of breast cancer.

So whether you breastfeed or not, get your yearly mammograms. Early detection can save your life ❤️

P. S. Unless there's an issue, you have to wait 6 months after weaning before you can get a preventive mammogram screening.

Nip Tip Tuesday!

You do not need a reason to call a lactation consultant.

Not struggling enough? Call anyway.
Second baby and you've done this before? Call anyway.
Breastfeeding feels fine but pumping is confusing? CALL ANYWAY.

One visit can catch things you didn't even know to ask about - fl**ge sizing, latch mechanics, positioning tweaks that make feeds faster and less painful.

You don't have to be in crisis. You just have to be a mama who wants things to go well.

That's enough. Call or text 531-329-0604.

A week in the life:

Monday: B**b Mobile loaded, first visit by 9am. Baby had a tongue tie — referred out, confirmed by end of the week, mama has a plan. Win.

Tuesday: Nip Tip Tuesday content drafted between visits. (Yes, I do this in parking lots sometimes.)

Wednesday: A toddler called me "the one with the b**b stuff" and I have never felt more seen in my entire career.

Thursday: Telehealth with a mama out of state. Same support, different screen.

Friday: Followed up with three families from earlier in the week. One baby up to birth weight. One mama down to zero guilt about switching to pumping. One dad who texted to say thank you.

This is the job. I love the job.

If you need support, I'm here. 531-329-0604.

Nip Tip Tuesday!

Your baby's gas and fussiness after feeds might not be about what you're eating.

It might be about HOW the milk is being delivered.

When we hold a bottle straight up and down, milk just drips in - baby barely has to work for it and swallows a ton of air. That air = gas = one very unhappy baby.

The fix: paced bottle feeding. Hold the bottle more parallel to the ground with the ni**le only partially full of milk. Baby has to work for it, just like at the breast. Less air, happier baby, and your freezer stash doesn't disappear in three minutes.

This is one of the most common things I teach at home visits - and it makes an immediate difference.

Questions? You know where to find me. 531-329-0604.

She came to me at 2am.

Not literally - she texted at 2am. New baby, latch issues, completely overwhelmed. She assumed insurance would never cover an in-home visit so she hadn't even tried to reach out.

She was wrong. And I saw her by the end of the week.

Here's what she said afterward:

"She gives you REAL advice and tricks and meets you where you are and whatever your goals look like... to say she has a good sense of humor on top of it is the cherry on top that you didn't know you need."

Her little one is thriving. And her toddler still talks about my funny socks.

If you've been sitting on reaching out because you assumed cost would be an issue - text me first. Let's figure it out together. 531-329-0604.

Did you know you can search for in-network lactation consultants directly on your insurance app or website?

Most mamas don't. And most of them are shocked to find out that in-home lactation visits are covered as preventative care - meaning zero out of pocket for a lot of families.

No office. No waiting room. No packing up a newborn and timing a feed around a drive.

I come to you, covered by your insurance, 24/7 by call or text.

If you're not sure whether I'm in-network with your plan, text me at 531-329-0604 and I'll help you figure it out. Takes five minutes. Potentially changes everything.

Nip Tip Tuesday!

If your baby seems gassy, fussy, and hard to settle after feeds - before you blame your diet or your supply, consider this: tongue tie.

A tongue tie can affect how your baby latches, which means they take in more air during feeds. That air has to go somewhere - and it usually comes out as a very unhappy baby.

Signs to watch for:
- clicking sounds during feeding
- a latch that keeps slipping
- ni**le pain that isn't improving
- a baby who feeds constantly but seems unsatisfied
- excessive gas and fussiness after feeds

Tongue ties are assessable and treatable. If any of this sounds familiar, reach out. I can observe a feed, assess the latch, and refer you to the right provider if a tie is suspected. And while it is not always an issue, it warrants a quick check.

You don't have to keep guessing. Call or text 531-329-0604.

"You're the one with the b**b stuff!"

I walked into a home visit last week and a toddler recognized me immediately. Not from my face. From my stuffed breast.

If you've never seen me work, here's something you should know: I take the older siblings seriously. A new baby turns their whole world upside down. So when I show up, I bring a stuffed b**b and we play catch. B**b Ball, officially. It is exactly what it sounds like.

That little guy lit up. His mama got the support she needed. And I drove home smiling like an idiot.

THIS is what in-home visits look like. Not clinical. Not intimidating. Just a lactation consultant, a stuffed breast, and a toddler who now thinks I'm the coolest person on the block.

If you've been referred to me or have been thinking about reaching out - this is the vibe. Reach out 24/7 by call or text at 531-329-0604.

Mama, I have to tell you something I wish someone had told me sooner.

When I had my first baby, my ni**les were cracked and bleeding and every single feed hurt like hell. I was white-knuckling through it because I thought I had no other options. Nobody told me I could call someone. Nobody told me that someone would actually come to my house. Nobody told me it could get better.

That's why I do what I do.

At TenderTouch Lactation Services, I come TO YOU. Jammies on, bra off, in your own space. Whether you're dealing with latch issues, low milk supply, a baby who won't gain weight, pumping questions, or you just need someone to tell you that you're not failing - I've got you.

And here's the part that surprises most mamas: it's covered by most major insurance plans. A lot of families pay nothing out of pocket.

You don't have to suffer through it. You don't have to figure it out alone. And you absolutely do not have to leave your house.

Reach out 24/7 by call or text at 531-329-0604. I respond fast - because breastfeeding questions don't wait for business hours, and neither do I.

You've got this. And I've got you.
