Don’t just take our word for it…💬

Hearing how our patients are feeling stronger, more confident, and more like themselves again is the best part of what we do. Every review is a reminder of why we love helping you reconnect with your body and get back to the life you want to live. 🧡

What is dry needling?

Dry needling uses very thin, sterile needles placed into tight, tender spots in your muscles (often called trigger points). It can help release tension, improve blood flow, and calm down pain that just won’t let up.

It is not the same as acupuncture! Dry needling is based on muscle anatomy and is used alongside your other physical therapy treatment to help you move and feel better.

Every year, instead of squeezing in a holiday party during the busiest season, we pause in the fall to celebrate our team and all the hard work they pour into our patients year-round. 🧡

There was good food, lots of laughter, and plenty of time to just be together outside the clinic walls.

Our team shows up every single day to support, encourage, and care for each person who walks through our doors, and they deserve to be celebrated for it!

Thank you, team, for everything you do. We are so lucky to work alongside you.

You don't need to have it all figured out. You don't need the right words to describe what's going on. You don't need to wait until it gets "bad enough."

Just come as you are!

This month, we honor the babies gone too soon and the parents who love them.

Your love, your grief, and your baby matter. Loss is often carried quietly, but you don't have to carry it alone. We see you!

Feeling heaviness, pressure, or discomfort “down there” that gets worse as the day goes on or with activity?

This can be a symptom of pelvic organ prolapse—and you’re not alone. Symptoms may appear or become more noticeable during pregnancy, after childbirth, or around menopause.

The good news? Pelvic floor physical therapy can help you improve symptoms and feel more confident with everyday movement. 💙

Watch this video for tips on lifting mechanics and proper breathing to help reduce strain on your pelvic floor.

At Nebraska Core + Pelvic Therapy, we’re here to listen and create a plan tailored to your symptoms, activities, and goals. Reach out to schedule a Pelvic Floor Evaluation!

Mama, you deserve care too. 💙

We know how hard it can be to put your own health first when little ones need you. Finding a sitter should not stand between you and the support you need. That is why we offer on-site childcare during your appointments.

While you focus on healing, your kiddos are safe, cared for, and just steps away.

Did you know pelvic floor therapy is a specialty within physical therapy? 💙

These concerns are common, but you don’t have to live with them! At Nebraska Core + Pelvic Therapy, we help you understand your symptoms and work toward feeling stronger, supported, and more confident in your body.
Have questions? Send us a message! We’re always happy to talk!

Meet Dr. Kierra Larsen, PT, DPT, founder of Nebraska Core + Pelvic Therapy!

Kierra founded NCPT in 2018 with a clear purpose: to make pelvic health care more accessible and help women feel informed, supported, and confident in their bodies. Ask her about it, and you'll see her face light up.

Her dedication to pelvic health continues to shape NCPT, from the individualized care each patient receives to the welcoming and supportive environment she has created.

Outside the clinic, Kierra enjoys playing Mahjong, enjoying sushi, attending concerts, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
