One way we can show kindness to ourselves is by slowing down, checking in with ourselves, and reminding ourselves that we are doing our best.

That is one of the reasons I am passionate about teaching yoga and mindfulness classes.

Hello NEW friends ❀️. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Alexis and I am the heart behind .

I am a proud mom, homeschooler and clinical mental health counseling grad student. When I am not homeschooling, studying or teaching yoga, mindfulness and hosting sound baths, I am spending time with my family πŸ₯° and doing all the things I love.

I LOVE the outdoors, running, yoga, hiking, meditating, reading and road trip adventures! 🌿

πŸ§˜πŸ½β€β™€οΈ Every group is different, which means every class, workshop, and session is different too. Some programs call for lots of props, while others require very few, or none at all.

🌿 For this particular program, even with more than 100 students, I didn’t need any props. The structure and activities were designed around the goals of the program and the needs of the students.

That’s one of the things I love most about this work: being able to adapt each experience and bring yoga, mindfulness, and movement to schools, camps, and community programs.

This somatic exercise uses present-moment awareness and body awareness to process overstimulation in both the body and mind.

Somatic such as yoga and mindfulness helps with nervous system regulation in adults and kids.

This is one of our student’s favorite activity, share with someone you think will like it.
